Job summary

Chadwick Nott seeks a Private Client Solicitor to join the Cardiff team, handling wills, trusts, and lasting powers of attorney for private clients. The role offers full/part-time options with hybrid/flexible working and a supportive, senior Welsh firm culture.

Location: Cardiff

Type of Role: Full-time or Part-time

Salary: £50,000 to £65,000 (depending on experience)

The Role

• Drafting wills, trusts, and lasting powers of attorney
• Handling estate administration and probate
• Advising on inheritance tax and succession planning
• Supporting elderly and vulnerable clients with sensitivity and care
• Building long term client relationships and contributing to the continued growth of the department

Candidate Requirements

• Has around 3-6 years' PQE in private client law
• Possesses strong technical knowledge across wills, probate, trusts, and tax planning
• Demonstrates excellent communication skills and a client focused approach
• Is confident managing their own files with autonomy
• Has a genuine passion for helping clients navigate complex and personal life decisions
