Job summary

Chadwick Nott is recruiting a Private Client Solicitor in Birmingham. The role Hybrid working, based in Birmingham with the Head of Department to handle high-value matters and a personal caseload.

You will be expected to advise on wills, estate planning, trusts, probate and lasting powers of attorney, while showing empathy for clients during sensitive times.

Qualifications

• Qualified Private Client Solicitor with current practising certificate.
• Ability to manage a caseload and supervise junior lawyers.
• Strong communication and empathy with vulnerable clients.

Overview

A new opportunity exists for a Private Client Solicitor to join this well-established national firm.

Joining a team of high experienced lawyers, you will be based in Birmingham and work alongside the Head of Department, assisting on high value cases and managing your own caseload.

Responsibilities

• Managing new enquiries


• Drafting Wills


• Dealing with Inheritance tax and estate planning


• Setting up Trusts


• Dealing with Probate and estate administration


• Drafting Lasting Powers of Attorney

About you

• Qualified Private Client Solicitor


• Able to manage a caseload, assist with complex cases and supervise juniors within the team


• Providing clear and empathetic advice to clients during sensitive times


• Excellent people skills and able to build a good rapport with vulnerable clients and third parties


• Experience in contentious Probate matters an advantage but not essential
