Job summary

Chadwick Nott is assisting a well-established national firm in Birmingham to recruit a Qualified Private Client Solicitor with hybrid working arrangements. The role involves managing a caseload, drafting wills, and handling inheritance tax, trusts, probate and LPAs, while supervising junior staff.

You will work alongside the Head of Department and provide empathetic, clear advice to vulnerable clients throughout sensitive times.

Qualifications

• Qualified Private Client Solicitor.
• Ability to manage a caseload, assist with complex cases and supervise juniors within the team.

Overview

A new opportunity exists for a Private Client Solicitor to join this well-established national firm.

Joining a team of high experienced lawyers, you will be based in Birmingham and work alongside the Head of Department, assisting on high value cases and managing your own caseload.

• Dealing with Inheritance tax and estate planning
• Setting up Trusts
• Dealing with Probate and estate administration
• Drafting Lasting Powers of Attorney

About you

• Qualified Private Client Solicitor
• Able to manage a caseload, assist with complex cases and supervise juniors within the team
• Providing clear and empathetic advice to clients during sensitive times
• Excellent people skills and able to build a good rapport with vulnerable clients and third parties
• Experience in contentious Probate matters an advantage but not essential
