Job summary

Chadwick Nott are recruiting a Private Client Solicitor for a Poole office. The role requires 5+ years’ PQE and offers ownership of a diverse caseload in a well-established regional firm. The position is based in Poole with a full-time schedule and a competitive salary.

You will handle wills, estates, probate, tax and trusts matters, while mentoring junior colleagues and building client relationships to drive growth and referrals. The firm supports flexible working and career development.

Private Client Solicitor – 5+ PQE – Poole
Location: Poole Office

Salary: £55,000 to £70,000

Chadwick Nott are pleased to be working with a well-established regional law firm currently seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join their growing team in Poole. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with 5+ years’ PQE to take ownership of a varied caseload and contribute to the continued success of a respected practice.

The Role

This is a client-facing and autonomous position, offering the chance to manage a full range of Private Client matters. Responsibilities include:

• Drafting Wills and advising on estate planning


• Administering estates and managing probate matters


• Advising on Tax and Trusts


• Preparing and registering Lasting Powers of Attorney


• Supporting and mentoring junior team members


• Building strong client relationships and encouraging referrals


• Meeting billing and time recording targets

Candidate Requirements

This role is suited to a qualified Solicitor with:

• Minimum 5 years’ PQE in Private Client law (flexible for the right candidate)


• Proven ability to manage a full caseload independently

• Commercial awareness and client development experience
