Private Client Solicitor / Legal Executive

Location: Tavistock

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Handle a broad and steady caseload of private client matters, including drafting Wills, establishing Trusts, preparing Lasting Powers of Attorney, and managing Estate and Trust Administration
• Deliver an exceptional client experience by providing clear, compassionate, and professional legal advice in face-to-face meetings
• Work closely with a supportive team of experienced colleagues in a busy, collaborative environment where knowledge-sharing is encouraged
• Build and maintain strong relationships with both existing and new clients, many of whom return to the firm generation after generation
• Play an active role in community-focused legal services and outreach, reinforcing the firm's trusted local presence
• Proactively support business development through networking, referrals, and involvement in local events

ABOUT YOU

• Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with 1+ PQE in private client work
• Confident in handling a diverse range of non-contentious matters, with a solid grounding in estate planning, trust creation and administration, and probate
• Personable, empathetic, and enthusiastic about engaging directly with clients and being part of a community-based practice
