GMP Recruitment Agency Limited Swindon is recruiting a Private Client Solicitor to join a growing practice. You will manage a varied caseload including wills, estate planning, LPAs, probate, and trusts while delivering excellent client service. Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 5 years' PQE in Private Client.
• Ability to independently manage a varied caseload from instruction through to completion.
• Excellent technical knowledge across Private Client matters.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied and high-quality caseload of Private Client matters, providing clear, practical advice and delivering an exceptional client experience.
• Handle wills and estate planning, Lasting Powers of Attorney, probate and estate administration, trusts, and inheritance tax planning.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and support the growth and reputation of the department.

As they continue to expand, they are seeking a talented Private Client Solicitor to play a key role in developing and growing their Private Client department.

This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor who enjoys providing expert, compassionate advice while helping shape the future of a modern and progressive firm.

The Role

You'll manage a varied and high-quality caseload of Private Client matters, providing clear, practical advice and delivering an exceptional client experience.

Your workload will include:

• Wills and estate planning
• Lasting Powers of Attorney
• Probate and estate administration
• Trust creation and administration
• Inheritance Tax planning
• Court of Protection matters (desirable)
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships
• Supporting the continued growth and reputation of the department

About You

We're looking for someone who:

• Is a qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 5 years' PQE in Private Client
• Can independently manage a varied caseload from instruction through to completion
• Demonstrates excellent technical knowledge across Private Client matters
• Has outstanding client care and communication skills
• Builds trusted, long-term relationships with clients and professional referrers
• Is commercially aware and enjoys contributing to the growth of a successful practice
• STEP qualification or working towards STEP would be advantageous but is not essential
