Service Care is seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join our reputable law firm in Shirley. With 3-5 years PQE, you will manage a diverse portfolio of private client matters and deliver high-quality legal services to a broad range of clients.

You will handle wills, estate planning, probate, and deputyship matters, drafting wills and powers of attorney, and advising executors and trustees. STEP qualification is preferable but not essential, and a competitive package with benefits

• Good knowledge of trusts, estate administration, wills, powers of attorney, and Court of Protection applications.

Responsibilities of the Private Client Solicitor

As a Private Client Solicitor , you will be responsible for providing expert advice and solutions on a variety of private client issues, including:

• Advising clients on wills, estate planning, inheritance tax, and asset protection
• Managing probate and estate administration from instruction through to completion
• Drafting wills, trusts, lasting powers of attorney, and other private client documentation
• Advising executors, trustees, attorneys, and beneficiaries on their duties and responsibilities
• Handling Court of Protection applications and deputyship matters
• Offering guidance on trust creation, administration, and succession planning
• Supporting clients with later-life planning, including care fee considerations and capacity issues
• Collaborating with financial advisers, accountants, and other professionals for comprehensive client solutions
• Delivering practical, tailored legal advice to meet individual client needs
• Contributing to business development via networking and community engagement initiatives
