G2 Legal Limited is seeking a Senior Associate for a growing Private Client team in Royston. You will handle wills, trusts, probate, and estate administration, managing a varied caseload and liaising with the Head of Department.

The role offers opportunities to mentor juniors and contribute to team growth. The ideal candidate is a qualified solicitor or CILEX with 6+ PQE, strong drafting and client-management skills, and a proactive approach to business development.

Private Client Senior Associate

A growing Private Client team is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Associate to join a busy department with a substantial pipeline of work already in place.
Working closely with the Head of Department, you will manage a varied caseload while having the opportunity to help shape and develop the team.

The Role

You’ll advise across wills, trusts, probate and estate administration, with work ranging from family trusts through to multimillion-pound trusts and estates.

The department has an established local client base alongside a significant London following, offering a varied caseload and strong client relationships.

As the successful candidate, you will also have the opportunity to:

• Work closely with the Head of Department on complex matters
• Supervise, mentor and support junior colleagues
• Help develop and grow the Private Client team
• Contribute to business development and the continued growth of the practice

About You

You will be aqualified Solicitor or CILEX lawyer with strong experience across private client work.

Ideally, you will have:

• 6+ PQE, although exceptional candidates with less experience will be considered
• Strong technical experience across wills, trusts, probate and estate administration
• Excellent client management, drafting and analytical abilities
• The confidence to manage matters independently
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
• An interest in mentoring and developing more junior colleagues

Some travel between Royston, Saffron Walden, other offices and client locations may be required.

Salary & Benefits

£65,000- £85,000 depending on experience

The firm has flexibility around salary depending on experience, background, expectations and previous billings.
