Job summary

Douglas Scott Ltd near Coventry is seeking a Private Client Solicitor to manage a high-quality caseload across Wills, Probate, LPAs and estate administration.

PRIVATE CLIENT SOLICITOR

Near Coventry | £50,000 - £65,000

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join a well-established and highly regarded law firm near Coventry.

The Role

You will manage a varied and high-quality private client caseload, providing expert advice across a broad range of matters, including:

• Drafting and reviewing Wills and associated legal documents
• Managing Probate and Estate Administration matters from initial instruction through to completion
• Advising on Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs)
• Providing clear, practical, and empathetic advice tailored to each client's individual circumstances

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

• Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive status
• A minimum of 5 years' PQE within Private Client law
• Strong technical knowledge and experience across Wills, Probate, LPAs, and Estate Administration
• The ability to independently manage a varied and complex caseload
• Excellent client care, communication, and relationship-building skills
• A genuine ambition to progress towards a senior leadership or Directorship position
