Private Client Solicitor(5 years + PQE)
Location:Bedfordshire
Salary: Up to £70,000 + Strong Bonus Scheme + Free Parking
Working Arrangements: Hybrid & Flexible (Part-time and Full-time Options Available)

They are now looking for a skilled Private Client Solicitor with 5-6 years of post-qualified experience to join their expanding team for their Bedfordshire office. About the Firm:
This reputable firm has seen significant growth in its Wills, Trusts, and Probate team due to its unwavering commitment to providing exceptional legal services. With a focus on delivering top-tier client care, they offer a great opportunity to develop further within a dynamic team.

The Role:
In this role, you will work closely with the Head of Department and other team members to deliver a full spectrum of private client services. Your caseload will include complex matters related to Wills, Probate, Estate Administration, and Trusts. The ideal candidate will have the passion and experience to deliver the highest level of service, while also being comfortable managing your own caseload.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing expert advice on inheritance tax, estate planning, and the drafting of Wills and Trusts
• Advising on agricultural and business property reliefs, as well as other tax reliefs applicable to estates and trusts
• Drafting Trust provisions for testamentary and inter vivos trusts
• Taking instructions for complex Wills and ensuring they meet clients’ specific needs and objectives
• Managing the administration of estates and trusts, including preparing returns for probate and liaising with HMRC
• Assisting clients with Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs), from taking instructions to managing registration
• Contributing to marketing efforts and supporting business development initiatives

Qualifications & Experience:

• Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive (5-6 years PQE)
• Proven experience handling complex private client matters, including Wills, Probate, Estate Administration, and Trusts
• STEP qualification or accreditation is desirable but not essential
• Ability to manage a caseload independently and efficiently

Skills & Attributes:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on client care
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute to business development
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
• Proficient in case management systems and Microsoft Office Suite
• Business development experience and a willingness to build relationships with clients and referrers
