Job Description:

We are a progressive legal firm with a well-established presence across the South of England and South Wales. We are currently conducting a confidential search for a Senior Solicitor (Private Client) to join our team. This is a fully remote position. The successful candidate will take on a leading role in delivering high-quality legal advice and documents to colleagues (not members of the public).

Key Responsibilities

• Advise on and manage a varied caseload of private client matters including wills, probate, estate administration, and lifetime trusts and will trusts.
• Draft and review legal instruments such as lifetime trust deeds, deeds of variation, and declarations of trust.
• Oversee residential conveyancing matters related to settling properties into wills and trusts.
• Support training and development as required.

Candidate Requirements

• At least 5 years PQE in private client practice, preferably in wills, tax, estate planning, and probate.
• Strong knowledge of trusts, especially creation, administration, and variation.
• Expertise in legal drafting, particularly of wills and trust documentation.
• Ability to manage caseloads independently with excellent attention to detail.
• Familiarity with case management systems and digital document platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
