Are you ready to play a pivotal role in the ambitious growth of a nationally renowned Private Client team?

On behalf of our clients we are seeking an experienced and driven Private Client Solicitor to join their Manchester office.

This is a standout opportunity to work with high net worth individuals and families on complex and rewarding matters, including estate and succession planning, inheritance tax planning, and trust administration.

You’ll be joining a dynamic, collaborative, and forward-thinking team, with access to exceptional national resources – all while shaping your own path within the Private Client sphere.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Advising high net worth individuals, families, and business owners on wills, lifetime trusts, deeds of variation, LPAs, estate administration, and complex IHT and CGT planning.
• Supporting clients with bespoke lifetime planning and the taxation of UK trusts and estates. Working closely with colleagues in our Tax, Corporate, and Family teams, as well as external wealth advisors and intermediaries.
• Taking a proactive role in business development, strengthening existing referrer relationships, and cultivating new opportunities in the Manchester market.
• Helping mentor and support junior team members as part of a collaborative, supportive, and high-performing culture.

About You

• You have solid experience in Private Client law, ideally gained at a leading regional or national firm. You’re STEP qualified (or working towards qualification).
• You bring sound technical knowledge, especially around lifetime IHT planning, trust taxation, and complex estate administration.
• You’re commercially astute, financially disciplined, and comfortable managing a broad caseload with competing deadlines.
• You’re a natural relationship builder, with strong ties to clients and introducers across the North West. Above all, you’re values-led – imaginative, tenacious, approachable, efficient, and full of integrity.
