Job summary

LJRecruitment, on behalf of a well-established Essex law firm, is seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor to manage a varied non-contentious private client caseload, advising on Wills, Probate, Estate Administration, LPAs and Trusts.

You will draft Wills and LPAs, handle estate administration from instruction through to completion, build strong client relationships, and contribute to business development in a collaborative, client-focused team.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor with strong Private Client experience.
• Experience across Wills, Probate and Estate Administration.
• Trusts experience would be advantageous.
• Excellent drafting, communication and organisational skills.
• Able to manage a busy caseload with minimal supervision.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Compassionate, approachable and confident handling sensitive matters.
• Strong commitment to client care and professional standards.
• Collaborative team player with a positive and commercial approach.

Responsibilities

• Managing a varied Private Client caseload independently
• Advising on Wills, Probate, Estate Administration, LPAs and Trusts
• Drafting Wills, LPAs and other legal documentation
• Handling estate administration from instruction through to completion
• Providing clear, practical and sensitive legal advice
• Building strong, long-term client relationships
• Liaising with beneficiaries, financial institutions and third parties
• Maintaining accurate case management and ensuring regulatory compliance
• Supporting junior team members where appropriate
• Contributing to business development and the continued growth of the department

The successful candidate will manage a varied non-contentious Private Client caseload, advising clients on Wills, Probate, Estate Administration, LPAs, Trusts and related matters.
