Help Shape a New Office (While Building Your Private Client Practice)

A well-established regional firm has just secured a flagship office in Burgess Hill in the heart of the town. They're not just opening a satellite office. They're establishing a significant new presence with a full-service team across multiple disciplines.

They're looking for experienced Private Client Solicitors to help build and lead the Burgess Hill offering. The Work

You'll handle a varied private client caseload:

• Wills and estate planning for individuals and families
• Probate and estate administration across complex estates
• Trust creation, administration, and tax planning
• Lasting Powers of Attorney preparation and advice
• Inheritance tax and capital gains tax matters
• Court of Protection work and elderly client matters
• Advise business owners and professionals on personal wealth planning

You'll work independently on your own matters while having access to experienced senior lawyers who can support on complex issues.

About You

• 2+ PQE in Private Client (flexible for the right candidate with no upper limit)
• Strong technical grounding across wills, trusts, probate, LPAs, tax planning
• Comfortable working with autonomy while knowing support is available
• Commercially minded and client-focused
• Keen to build a practice and help establish the Burgess Hill office
• Looking for genuine growth opportunity, not just a lateral move
