Job summary

William James Recruitment in Cambridge is seeking a Private Client Senior Associate Solicitor to join a leading national team. You will advise high-net-worth individuals on complex private wealth matters and play a key role in developing the practice.

The role offers excellent quality work, clear progression, flexible and agile working, private healthcare and a competitive salary up to £75,000 plus benefits.

Qualifications

3–10 PQE Private Client Solicitor
Strong experience in wills, trusts, estates and tax planning
STEP qualification desirable but not essential
Strong technical ability and attention to detail
Commercially aware with a client-focused approach
Ambitious and driven with a proactive mindset
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Experience within a regional or national firm

Responsibilities

Managing a varied caseload of complex private client matters
Advising on taxable estates and estate planning strategies
Drafting tax-efficient wills and trust structures
Handling trust administration matters
Working with HNW and UHNW individuals and families
Collaborating with a highly experienced team
Delivering high standards of client care
Supporting team growth and development
