The role focuses on Wills, LPAs, trusts, estate administration and IHT planning, with opportunities to mentor junior lawyers and shape the department’s future.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor with 7PQE+ in Private Client.
• Experience in Wills, LPAs, trusts, probate, estate administration and IHT.
• Ability to manage a caseload independently with minimal supervision.
• Confident in client and professional contacts, with business development skills.
• Experience mentoring junior lawyers and supervising others.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied private client caseload including wills, LPAs, trusts, estate administration and IHT planning.
• Advise on estate planning, succession and wealth preservation.
• Develop and maintain client and professional relationships.
• Develop referral networks and contribute to business development.
• Support and mentor junior team members.
• Maintain high standards of client care, compliance and file management.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Managing a varied caseload covering Wills, LPAs, trusts, estate administration and IHT planning.
• Advising clients on estate planning, succession and wealth preservation.
• Building and maintaining strong client and professional relationships.
• Developing referral networks and contributing to business development.
• Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team.
• Maintaining high standards of client care, compliance and file management.

ABOUT YOU

• Qualified Solicitor , 7PQE+ within Private Client
• Strong experience across Wills, LPAs, trusts, probate, estate administration and IHT.
• Able to manage a caseload independently with minimal supervision.
• Confident dealing directly with clients and professional contacts.
• Strong client relationship and business development skills.
• Experience supervising or mentoring junior lawyers.
• Looking to take on a senior role within an established Private Client team.
