• Significant experience handling a broad range of Private Client matters.
• Strong knowledge of Wills, probate, trusts and inheritance tax planning.
• Experience with complex estates and succession planning.
• STEP qualification or willingness to work towards it.
• Experience in agricultural, rural, or business-related matters is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently while supporting a team.
• Interest in mentoring colleagues and contributing to business development.

On behalf of our client, we are looking to recruit an experienced Private Client lawyer to our clients growing team.

This opportunity would suit an experienced Solicitor or Legal Executive seeking a senior position, with appointments considered from Associate through to Salaried Partner level, depending on experience.

The successful candidate will join a supportive and ambitious team, handling a varied and high-quality caseload whilst playing an important role in the continued development of the department.

The Role:

The successful candidate will manage a broad range of Private Client matters, advising a varied client base that includes high-net-worth individuals, business owners, farming families and those requiring specialist estate and succession planning advice.

The position offers the opportunity to undertake high-quality work whilst helping to strengthen the firm’s presence and client relationships within the Exeter area.

About You:
