About the Role:

My client is currently seeking a Legal Secretary to join the Private Client department in their Leamington Spa office. This is a full-time opportunity within a Legal 500 firm. The successful candidate will provide full secretarial and administrative support to multiple Fee Earners, supporting the team with a varied workload, including Wills, Powers of Attorney, and Estate Administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide typing and secretarial support to multiple Fee Earners within the Private Client Department
  2. Handle client calls, liaise with Fee Earners, and arrange appointments
  3. Greet clients in Reception and ensure a professional and courteous experience
  4. Carry out conflict checks and assist with new client file opening procedures
  5. Maintain and update filing systems, both paper-based and digital
  6. Prepare invoices and cost schedules under Fee Earner supervision
  7. Provide general administrative support as required, including reception cover when needed
  8. Handle sensitive client matters with professionalism and discretion

About You:

  1. Minimum of 1 year's experience working in a Private Client Department, including exposure to Wills, Powers of Attorney, and Estate Administration
  2. Proficient keyboard skills and confident using Microsoft Outlook and Word
  3. Friendly and professional with a proactive, dynamic approach
  4. Strong communication and organisational skills
  5. Team player with a flexible and adaptable mindset
  6. Able to manage sensitive situations and maintain confidentiality
