Job description

Private Client Legal Secretary - Norwich

Contract Personnel are looking for an experienced Private Client Legal Secretary to join our well-established client's Private Client and Court of Protection teams in Norwich.

How does the day-to-day look?

  • Supporting Fee Earners with general administrative tasks
  • Audio typing for Private Client Lawyers and other members of the Private Client Department
  • Answering and screening incoming calls
  • Managing and updating Fee Earners calendars and booking meeting rooms
  • Opening and closing client files in line with the firm's procedures
  • Sending out initial client paperwork and/or emails
  • Performing other clerical secretarial duties such as filing, photocopying and scanning post
  • Updating the Practice Management System with client related information

You will have:

  • Previous work experience in a private client secretarial role
  • Excellent organisational and customer service skills
  • A professional attitude and appearance
  • Strong IT skills and proficiency in Microsoft Outlook & Word
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and be resourceful
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to new systems/procedures

Schedule: Monday to Friday, full time hours
