A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a full time Private Client assistant to join our clients well established friendly office. The successful candidate will provide secretarial and administrative support to the team enabling them to operate at optimum efficiency whilst providing a high-quality legal service to our clients.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in all aspects of Private Client Law.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Diary management and scheduling appointments
  • Onboarding new clients and carrying out relevant checks
  • Opening/closing and archiving files
  • Audio typing and dictation
  • Producing documents including wills and LPA’s
  • General secretarial and administration duties
  • Liaising with clients and third parties
  • Financial matters such as requesting monies and completing posting slips for making payments.
SPECIFICATIONS
  • Able to communicate in a professional manner with internal and external contacts
  • Commitment to providing excellent client care
  • Excellent IT skills to include Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work well under pressure, adapt to changing requirementsTeam-focus with a flexible “can do” and collaborative approach to working with others, but also able to work alone.
  • Confidence to communicate with all levels in order to manage expectations and maintain effective working relationships
