Job summary

Clayton Legal in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England, is seeking an experienced Private Client Lawyer or Fee Earner to join its growing team. You will manage your own caseload from inception to completion, handling wills, trusts, LPAs, deputyships and probate with high-quality client care.

You should have a minimum of 3 years' PQE in Private Client law, be able to work independently, and contribute to business development while maintaining AML compliance.

Qualifications

• Experienced Private Client Lawyer or Fee Earner with 3+ years' PQE in Private Client law.
• Strong knowledge of Wills, Trusts, Estate Planning, LPAs, Deputyships and Probate.
• Able to manage a caseload independently and deliver high-quality client service.

Responsibilities

• Manage own caseload from inception to completion.
• Draft legal documents and correspondence.
• Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues and third parties.
• Ensure AML/regulatory compliance and manage risk.
• Witness and certify documents and provide holiday cover.
• Support business development and growth of the Private Client team.
