Clayton Legal is seeking a qualified Wills & Estates Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join its established Wills & Estates team in Yeadon. The role offers hybrid working, a supportive environment and clear opportunities to progress your career.

You will advise on wills, probate, estate planning and related matters, manage your own caseload with guidance from senior lawyers, and contribute to client care and business development.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with 3+ years' PQE, or equivalent experience
• Experience in wills, probate and estate planning
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Confidence dealing with clients and colleagues at all levels
• A commitment to providing excellent client care and consistently meeting client expectations
• A proactive, positive approach to your own professional development

Responsibilities

• Advising clients across the full range of private client matters, including wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, estate administration, Court of Protection matters and trusts
• Providing clear, practical legal advice and delivering excellent client care
• Managing your own caseload and developing strong, lasting client relationships
• Assisting senior fee earners with more complex matters, providing an opportunity to broaden your experience and develop your technical expertise
• Contributing to the team's wider marketing and business development activity, including written content and occasional events
