Job summary

NPA Recruit is seeking a Private Client Lawyer for an East Sussex office in Bexhill. The role covers wills, estate planning, probate, and related advisory work. Negotiable working arrangements and a competitive salary DOE.

You will interview clients, draft wills and trusts, manage estates, coordinate with beneficiaries, and stay updated on private client law. A valid practicing certificate (CILEx or Solicitor) is required.

Qualifications

• Qualified CILEx Legal Executive or Solicitor with a valid practising certificate.
• Experience in private client law preferred.
• Familiarity with wills, trusts, probate and estate planning.

Responsibilities

• Interview clients to assess legal needs in wills, estate planning, and probate.
• Draft wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives.
• Assist with estate management including updates, tax advice, and inheritance planning.
• Coordinate execution and administration of documents with clients and beneficiaries.
• Stay informed on laws to provide accurate private client advice.
• Resolve estate disputes through negotiation, mediation or court representation.
• Protect client confidentiality and maintain ethical standards.
• Collaborate with legal and financial professionals for comprehensive services.
