Chadwick Nott Taunton is seeking a Private Client Fee Earner with 3+ PQE to join a well established regional firm in Taunton. You will manage a varied and high quality caseload, advising on private client matters with autonomy in a supportive and collaborative environment.

The role offers flexible working options, a competitive salary from £45,000 to £60,000 per annum, and real opportunities for progression within a respected team.

• Qualified Solicitor with 3+ years’ PQE in private client work or experienced fee earner
• Strong technical knowledge of private client law

Responsabilidades

• Manage a broad and interesting range of private client matters including estate administration, wills, trusts, estate planning, lasting powers of attorney and Court of Protection matters
• Manage your own caseload with autonomy and provide clear, comprehensive advice to clients
• Ensure files are handled in line with internal procedures and professional standards
• Support colleagues with overflow work as needed
• Meet clients, assess their needs and draft relevant documentation
• Provide accurate statutory interpretation and legal advice
• Maintain accurate time recording and issue regular bills
• Deliver a high-quality, client-focused service

Location: Taunton (Flexible Working Available)

Salary: £45,000 to £60,000 (depending on experience)

The Role

You will manage a broad and interesting range of private client matters, including:

• Estate administration
• Wills and trusts
• Estate planning
• Lasting Powers of Attorney
• Court of Protection matters

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing your own caseload with autonomy
• Providing clear, comprehensive advice to clients
• Ensuring all files are handled in line with internal procedures and professional standards
• Supporting colleagues with overflow work where needed

Candidate Requirements

This role is suited to:

• A qualified Solicitor with 3+ years’ PQE in private client work or
• An experienced non qualified fee earner with equivalent expertise
• You should also demonstrate:
• Strong technical knowledge of private client law
• Excellent attention to detail
• A professional, conscientious and reliable approach
• Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload
• Strong client care skills and a proactive mindset
