Law Staff Legal Recruitment is representing a Legal 500 Tier 3 firm seeking a Private Client Solicitor to manage a varied caseload including wills, probate, trusts and Court of Protection work. The role offers strong client contact, business development opportunities, exposure to high-quality matters, and a supportive team culture.

You will handle client relationships, draft documents and support growth of the department while adhering to Lexcel standards and maintaining professional fee notes.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor with 4+ PQE in Private Client
• Strong knowledge across Private Client matters
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

You will manage a varied private client caseload while supporting the continued growth of the department. The role offers strong client contact, business development opportunities, and exposure to a broad range of private client matters including wills, probate, trusts and Court of Protection work.

Key Responsibilities of the Private Client Solicitor

• Developing a client portfolio through marketing, networking and social media

Requirements of the Private Client Solicitor

• Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 4+ PQE in Private Client, ideally 6–7 PQE
• Strong technical knowledge across Private Client matters
• High standards of work and strong attention to detail
• Knowledge of Lexcel requirements
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• IT literate with strong case management, Word, Outlook and Excel skills
• Self-motivated and target-driven
• Ability to adapt to change and support vulnerable clients
• Courteous, professional and approachable manner
• Ability to work independently and as part of a teamStrong organisational, time management and file management skills
• Valid driving licence
