Job summary

Nuffield Health Oxford Manor Hospital in Oxford is seeking a registered nurse to join the intervention suite as a cath lab scrub nurse supporting consultant cardiologists during device implantations and cardioversions.

You will manage the patient journey from pre-assessment to discharge, work within a small team, and participate in ad hoc shifts across 8am–6pm weekdays and some Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with post-registration experience.
• Experience working in a cardiac catheter lab.
• NMC registration is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist private cardiac service for patients needing device implantation and cardioversions.
• Be involved in the patient journey from pre-assessment to discharge.
• Act as scrub nurse to Consultant Cardiologists.
• Circulate for cases.
• Maintain a high standard of nursing for Cath Lab patients.
• Prepare patients for procedures and collaborate with wards.
