Job summary

Montpellier Resourcing Associates Ltd. is seeking a Private Banking Assistant in London. The role supports a UK team of CROs, with an international client base and a hybrid working arrangement in London.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in private banking or financial services and a good understanding of KYC/AML, FATCA and CRS. IAD is desirable, CeMAP is also desirable, and you will handle client instructions, credit and investment tasks with discretion and accuracy.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of demonstrable experience in private banking or financial services.
• Good understanding of private banking processes and financial products (KYC/AML, FATCA, CRS).
• Experience with investment administration and credit or lending processes.
• Experience with international clients is preferred.
• IAD and CeMAP are desirable.
• Comfortable using standard IT systems and quick to learn new software.

Responsibilities

• Process client instructions including transfers, payments, FX and deposits.
• Process purchases and sales of securities for CROs and clients and promote banking/investment products when qualified.
• Complete and process credit applications and reviews; manage loans from approval to drawdown.
• Act as primary client contact and follow up on issues with CROs as needed.
• Prepare onboarding and periodic reviews documentation for CROs.
