Job summary

ScottishPower seeks a Data Protection Manager to lead data protection across People & Organisation and Health & Safety. You will provide expert guidance on privacy requirements, contract obligations and regulatory duties, shaping our data protection programme and risk controls.

You will collaborate with the Corporate Data Protection Officer, drive training, monitor indicators and support the business in managing privacy risks effectively in a hybrid working environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Data Protection, Privacy Compliance or related discipline.
• Strong working knowledge of GDPR, Data Protection legislation and privacy best practice.
• Excellent communication and relationship management with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead on data protection matters across People & Organisation and Health & Safety.
• Provide expert advice on privacy requirements, contracts and regulatory obligations.
• Ensure DPIAs and risk assessments are completed and data protection controls remain effective.
