ScottishPower is seeking a Data Protection Manager to lead data protection across People & Organisation and Health & Safety. The role partners with the Corporate Data Protection Officer to drive GDPR compliance and effective privacy risk management in a large, evolving organisation.

As Data Protection Manager, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of data protection across our People & Organisation and Health & Safety functions. Working closely with the Corporate Data Protection Officer, you'll help shape and deliver our data protection programme, ensuring compliance with legislation while supporting colleagues across the business to manage privacy risks effectively. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced data protection professional to influence policy, drive best practice and make a meaningful impact across a complex and evolving organisation. You'll lead on data protection matters across People & Organisation and Health & Safety, providing expert advice and guidance on privacy requirements, contract negotiations and regulatory obligations. You'll ensure that appropriate assessments are completed, risks are identified and mitigated, and data protection controls remain effective throughout business operations. You'll work closely with stakeholders across the business, supporting training and awareness initiatives, monitoring key performance indicators and representing the function at corporate forums and industry groups. You'll also act as a trusted advisor, helping teams understand their responsibilities while ensuring compliance with GDPR and wider data protection legislation.
