Job summary

Major, Lindsey & Africa supports a high-growth fintech business across the UK and Europe. The Legal and Privacy team is hiring an Interim Privacy Analyst / Data Protection Paralegal to drive a broad range of privacy and compliance activities.

You will support the privacy programme day-to-day, including DPIAs, LIAs, DSARs and ROPA, collaborating with Legal, Compliance, Risk, Security and Product teams. This role offers hands‑on experience in a regulated environment and is ideal for a junior

Qualifications

• Practical experience with UK GDPR and data protection requirements.
• Exposure to privacy compliance activities such as DPIAs, DSARs, ROPAs or privacy risk assessments.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Assist with DPIAs, LIAs and other privacy reviews.
• Maintain privacy records, policies and compliance documentation.
• Support Records of Processing Activities (ROPA) and governance initiatives.
• Assist with DSARs and other data rights requests.
• Review data flows and identify potential privacy risks.
• Assist with third‑party privacy due diligence.
