Job summary

Vanguard is seeking a Data Privacy Analyst to protect personal information across our global business. You will embed privacy into product and process design, work with cross-functional teams, and guide initiatives to comply with UK GDPR, EU GDPR, and evolving privacy requirements.

The role emphasizes practical risk-based advice and privacy governance. You will lead privacy training, manage DPIAs/PRAs, and review data flows and consent practices to ensure responsible data use while supporting

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of UK GDPR, EU GDPR, and related privacy regulations.
  • Ability to assess privacy risk and provide practical guidance to stakeholders.
  • Experience in governance, risk, and compliance within financial services is preferred.
  • Experience with AI governance or emerging technology privacy considerations is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice on privacy and data protection requirements across UK/EU regulations.
  • Embed Privacy by Design into products, services and processes.
  • Lead privacy forums and trainings to raise awareness and ensure compliance.
  • Oversee incident handling, DPIAs/PRAs and remediation of privacy findings.
  • Review data flows and consent mechanisms to ensure lawful processing.
