Job summary

Smart Pension is seeking a proactive Risk Analyst to join the Risk and Privacy team in the UK. You will manage privacy operations, coordinate data subject rights and incidents, and support DPIA processes while liaising with legal, information security and customer services.

Training will be provided, and strong organisational skills are essential. You will work closely with the Data Protection Officer and outsourced privacy consultants, ensuring timely, audit-ready documentation and clear

Qualifications

• Interest in data protection and privacy; training provided.
• Degree in law, risk management, business or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Some experience in a privacy, risk, compliance, legal, audit, operations or administrative role.
• Awareness of UK GDPR concepts or willingness to learn quickly.
• Strong organisational skills with ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain records with discretion.
• Good written and verbal communication; collaborative approach.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day privacy inbox and triage queries within timescales.
• Coordinate data subject rights requests end to end and prepare responses.
• Log and track privacy incidents and remediation actions through to closure.
• Maintain privacy registers and processing records for audit readiness.
• Support DPIA process and project work; chase inputs and track sign-off.
• Support periodic reviews of notices, policies and training tracking.
• Coordinate outsourced privacy consultants and track deliverables.
