Job summary

The Vanguard Group is seeking a Data Privacy Analyst in London to help protect personal information and embed privacy into product design and business processes. You will work with technology, legal, compliance and risk teams to navigate regulations and enable responsible data use.

The role requires experience in privacy, strong communication, and the ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical guidance. This hybrid role involves three days in the office per week.

Qualifications

• Experience in privacy, data protection, compliance, risk, legal, governance or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of UK GDPR, EU GDPR, and related privacy regulations.
• Bachelor's degree in Law, Information Management, Business, Risk Management, or related discipline.
• CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT or equivalent privacy certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice on privacy and data protection requirements.
• Serve as trusted advisor to stakeholders, embedding Privacy by Design into new products, technologies, processes, and initiatives.
• Lead privacy-related forums and trainings to raise awareness and ensure adherence to privacy laws.
• Oversee daily incident assignments, investigations and response activities relating to privacy.
• Review business initiatives to identify privacy risks and compliance obligations.
