Job summary

Manpower, Inc. is seeking an Instructor (Band 3) at HMP Swinfen Hall to lead and supervise prisoners in prison workshops, promoting safe and productive working behaviours.

Responsibilities

• Supervise prisoners in non-specialist workshop environments, ensuring safe, secure and high-standard delivery.
• Participate in selection and induction of prisoners into workshops.
• Train prisoners in health and safety procedures, COSHH, and safe use of tools/equipment.
• Maintain attendance, pay and work records; contribute to prison reports and reviews.
• Set work schedules, monitor productivity, and manage workshop activities.
