Job summary

Serco Group in Uttoxeter is seeking a Therapeutic Community Forensic Psychologist to deliver psychological services within the TC at HMP Dovegate. You will assess, intervene, manage risk and support rehabilitation, working with residents and a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires HCPC registration or nearing qualification, a forensic background, and a commitment to evidence-based practice. This is a full-time, onsite position with a focus on reducing risk and promoting safer communities.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration or nearing registration.
• Experience with offenders and forensic assessments.
• Strong report-writing and clinical assessment skills.
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of violent offending and therapeutic interventions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver psychological assessments including HCR-20, SARA, WAIS, IPDE and PCL-R.
• Facilitate therapy groups and support residents through their therapeutic journey.
• Complete parole reports and other clinical documentation within required deadlines.
• Collaborate with healthcare, offender management, education and other professionals.
• Provide supervision to Forensic Psychologists in Training where appropriate.
• Support the delivery and improvement of Psychological Services within the Therapeutic Community.
