Job summary

SkyBlue Solutions is seeking a Prison Security Escort for a temporary ongoing role in Newmarket. The position involves working with the prison service to escort and oversee maintenance contractors such as carpenters, plumbers and electricians during their visits.

You will ensure contractor IDs are checked, security measures are briefed, and tool lists are created, while maintaining close supervision and regular radio communication throughout shifts.

Responsibilities

• Check identification of contractors.
• Ensure contractors are briefed on security measures.
• Book in and out contractors.
• Create a tool list.
• Escort contractors through the prison to their work area.
• Oversee contractors while they work (stay with them at all times).
• Check tools are accounted for before leaving the work area.
• Use radio to request permission to move contractors within the prison.
