Job summary

Qualifications

• NMC registration or pending is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day healthcare services under the supervision of a band 6 nurse.
• Ensure nursing practice is accurately recorded in the Trust electronic record system.
• Attend emergency situations and use the NEWS 2 assessment tool.
• Administer medications to inmates.
• Screen all new receptions, transfers and releases.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings.
• Meet UK residency and security vetting requirements for prison staff.
