Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking support workers to care for residents on a busy regional bed unit at HMP Manchester (Prison). The post holder will provide routine care and support under the direction of the registered nurse and the multidisciplinary team.

You will promote therapeutic activity, engage in 1:1 sessions, and hand over concerns to qualified staff. Prison clearance vetting is required.

Formación

• Experience in health care settings preferred
• Ability to work under direction of nursing staff
• Willingness to undergo prison clearance vetting

Responsabilidades

• Provide support and assistance to other team members
• Deliver routine care and support to people with mental and physical health problems
• Promote therapeutic activity on the unit or ward
• Engage in 1:1 sessions with patients
• Provide handover to qualified staff of any concerns
