Job summary

Ministry of Justice is seeking a Programme Facilitator to deliver a range of activities and programmes for prisoners, including assessment, group and individual sessions, and motivational interviewing. You will be supported through training and supervision, with opportunities to develop professionally while working across multiple sites in the East Midlands.

Qualifications

• Excellent skills in dealing with people and maintaining rapport with participants.
• Full training will be provided and support offered through supervision.
• Ability to work flexibly across sites and adapt sessions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver programmes in group or individual settings following a manual.
• Organise materials for sessions and plan sessions per requirements.
• Recruit future participants and complete assessments and screening tools.
• Maintain accurate records of assessments and contact with participants.
• Conduct motivational interviews to engage participants in programmes.
• Complete post-session de-briefs and document progress and objectives.
• Engage with sentence management teams and participate in supervision.
• Deliver awareness packages to staff as required.
