Job summary

Dovetail And Slate Ltd is recruiting a Painting & Decorating Tutor to deliver practical P&D training on-site at HMP Feltham. You will develop learners’ craft skills, surface preparation, and workplace discipline through hands-on sessions and targeted theory.

The role requires a Level 2 trade qualification, substantial painting experience, and experience delivering vocational training. London Weighting is included; salary starts from £30,000 + £5,000 London Weighting per annum, with full-time,

Qualifications

• A Level 2 (or higher) vocational qualification in Painting & Decorating.
• Significant hands-on painting and decorating experience.
• Experience delivering vocational or on-the-job training.
• Teaching or assessing qualification desirable; support offered to achieve during probation.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver Painting & Decorating training modules.
• Create tailored Individual Training Plans for learners.
• Uphold health & safety and keep workshop standards.
• Track progress and maintain course documentation.
