Job summary

Red Snapper Recruitment are recruiting Prison Custody Officers at HMP Millsike. This role goes beyond security, delivering safety, dignity and rehabilitation by working with prisoners, staff and partner services to uphold a safe environment.

No previous prison experience is required—your values, resilience and professionalism matter most. The position is full-time (42 hours per week) with a fully-funded initial training course and a competitive salary of £37,818.90.

Salary: £37,818.90 | 42 hours per week | Full training provided

Overview of the Role

This is much more than a security role. You will work directly with prisoners, colleagues and partner teams to maintain safety, encourage positive behaviour and support rehabilitation. No previous prison experience is required - we are looking for people with the right values, resilience and attitude.
