Job summary

NSFT Secure Mental Health Services is recruiting a qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner to join a multidisciplinary team across Norfolk prisons, including HMP Norwich, HMP Bure and HMP Wayland. The role offers the chance to develop skills in low intensity therapies within a secure setting and to contribute to an integrated model from arrest to release.

The post involves travel between sites; drivers with own vehicle are essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified with PW-P (or equivalent)
• Experience in mental health practice
• Registered with relevant UK body (NHS/psychology)

Responsibilities

• Provide direct low-intensity interventions to a defined caseload.
• Carry out approximately 5 contacts per day with prison residents.
• Work autonomously under supervision of a Psychological Therapist.
• Travel between sites (HMP Norwich, HMP Bure and HMP Wayland) as required.
