Job summary

Norfolk and Suffolk Foundation Trust is seeking a qualified Psychological Therapist to join the integrated mental health and justice pathway across three Norfolk prisons. You will deliver CBT, Counselling, EMDR and CAT within the IAPT framework, supporting service users with autonomous caseload management and cross-team collaboration.

The role requires dual CBT and Counselling skills, cultural competency and the ability to work in a busy prison environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified Psychological Therapist with registration to practice in the NHS.
• Experience delivering IAPT-style therapies in high-security or prison settings is desirable.
• Ability to work flexibly in a busy prison environment and manage caseload autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic assessment and evidence-based interventions to prisoners within the IAPT service across multiple sites.
• Collaborate with prison services, drug/alcohol services, and medical teams to ensure holistic care.
• Travel between sites to support three prisons and maintain access for service users.
