Job summary

Autajon Royston seeks an Experienced Flexographic Printer to join our production team. Based in Royston, near Cambridge, you will run multi‑colour flexo presses, ensure quality and efficiency, and work with others to resolve issues.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and a commitment to high standards in labels and packaging. Shift pattern avoids nights, with opportunities for progression in a modern, clean facility.

Qualifications

• Flexographic printing experience, particularly printing labels and packaging.
• Experience of embellishments such as rotary screen, hot foil, cold foil, and embossing.
• Experience of Nilpeter Servo Press, Mark Andy, MPS or similar.
• An enthusiasm to work as part of a team, but also be able to use your initiative to work independently.
• Someone who can maintain a high level of consistency and reliability, which ensures efficiency and productivity.
• An appreciation and understanding that detail and quality is EVERYTHING when it comes to labels.
• Someone who takes pride in their presentation, and can demonstrate tidiness and organisational skills.
• An eagerness to solve problems and look at challenges with a positive outlook.
• Confidence to communicate effectively to all employees of all levels in the business.
• A desire to work creatively within the printing and packaging industry.

• Relaying information through the Specification sheet on how jobs are produced and exactly what settings are required to repeat the process.
• Daily productivity responsibilities, ensuring that your schedule and targets are achieved
• Being a team player with effective communication skills
• Ensuring excellent attention to detail and following detailed processes and procedures
• Working with all departments to ensure ordered are complete On Time In Full (OTIF)
• Working with the Production Manager to continually improve quality, processes and production efficiencies.

Experienced Flexographic Printer

Autajon Labels Royston: We are an award-winning label printing company, established in 1984 as Royston Labels Ltd, and joined the Autajon Group in 2023. As a growing business, we pride ourselves on developing high-end, top-quality labels for our well-known clients in the Cosmetics & Toiletries, Health & Nutrition, Drinks, and Pharma industries. No Nights, No Weekends, No Bank Holidays

37.5hrs, Monday to Friday, 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00 (Weekly Rotating)

Responsibilities of the Printer

The successful candidate will be joining our production team, reporting into a Production Supervisor.

• Running multi-colour flexo presses
• Responsibility for quality, efficiency and good housekeeping
