Job summary

Autajon Labels Royston is seeking an experienced Flexographic Printer to join our production team on a 37.5 hour week, Monday to Friday, with rotating shifts 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00. You will operate multi-colour flexo presses, ensure print quality, and support OTIF delivery to luxury labels clients.

Experience with rotary screen, hot foil, cold foil, and Nilpeter/Mark Andy/MPS presses is preferred; you will work with cross-functional teams to maintain high standards of cleanliness and

Qualifications

• Experience in flexographic printing for labels and packaging.
• Experience with embellishments: rotary screen, hot foil, cold foil, embossing.
• Familiarity with Nilpeter Servo Press, Mark Andy or MPS or similar.
• Ability to work in a team and use initiative.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good presentation, tidy work area and organised.
• Strong problem solving and positive outlook.
• Effective communication across departments.

Autajon Labels Royston: We are an award-winning label printing company, established in 1984 as Royston Labels Ltd, and joined the Autajon Group in 2023. As a growing business, we pride ourselves on developing high-end, top-quality labels for our well-known clients in the Cosmetics & Toiletries, Health & Nutrition, Drinks, and Pharma industries. Responsibilities

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

**No Nights, No Weekends, No Bank Holidays**

37.5hrs, Monday to Friday, 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00 (Weekly Rotating)

The successful candidate will be joining our production team, reporting into a Production Supervisor.

Responsibilities Will Include

• Running multi-colour flexo presses
• Responsibility for quality, efficiency and good housekeeping
• Able to trouble shoot to solve issues with machinery or print quality
• Relaying information through the Specification sheet on how jobs are produced and exactly what settings are required to repeat the process.
• Daily productivity responsibilities, ensuring that your schedule and targets are achieved
• Being a team player with effective communication skills
• Ensuring excellent attention to detail and following detailed processes and procedures
• Working with all departments to ensure ordered are complete On Time In Full (OTIF)
• Working with the Production Manager to continually improve quality, processes and production efficiencies.

Requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Experience required includes:

• Flexographic printing experience, particularly printing labels and packaging
• Experience of embellishments such as rotary screen, hot foil, cold foil, and embossing
• Experience of Nilpeter Servo Press, Mark Andy, MPS or similar
• An enthusiasm to work as part of a team, but also be able to use your initiative to work independently
• Someone who can maintain a high level of consistency and reliability, which ensures efficiency and productivity
• An appreciation and understanding that detail and quality is EVERYTHING when it comes to labels
• Someone who takes pride in their presentation, and can demonstrate tidiness and organisational skills
• An eagerness to solve problems and look at challenges with a positive outlook
• Confidence to communicate effectively to all employees of all levels in the businessli>
• A desire to work creatively within the printing and packaging industry.
