Job summary

Portmeirion Group PLC in the United Kingdom is seeking a Print Machine Operative on a fixed term contract to join our production team on rotating days/noons shifts, performing labouring tasks and following set processes to maintain quality.

You will operate either a 2 colour or 6 colour Malkin Print Machine, loading biscuit flatware for printing a range of patterns; previous experience is desirable but training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Previous experience is desirable but not essential.
• Willing to train the right candidate.
• Heavy lifting and labouring may be required.

Responsibilities

• Bomb print flatware on Malkin print machines.
• Achieve quality targets for the department.
• Achieve count targets for individual items.
• Input ware count dockets onto IT system.
• Work as an individual and as part of a team.
• Be responsible for the cleanliness of your work area.
• Ensure polymers, steels and bombs stock levels are maintained.
• Be flexible in a fast paced working environment.
