Job summary

The Best Connection is recruiting a Manufacturing Operative to support a busy print factory in Uckfield. Rotating days and fixed nights offer consistent work and weekly pay.

You will operate and set up print machinery, monitor quality, pick and pack orders, and process orders using warehouse systems. You will work as part of a team to meet daily targets while following health and safety procedures, with temporary-to-permanent potential.

Responsibilities

• Operate and oversee print machinery to ensure efficient production.
• Set up machines, including adjustments for different print runs.
• Monitor quality of printed materials to meet company standards.
• Pick and pack customer orders accurately.
• Process orders using handheld scanners and warehouse systems.
• Prepare goods for dispatch.
• Conduct quality checks on products.
• Load and unload materials safely.
• Complete production paperwork and log output.
• Work as part of a team to meet daily targets and deadlines.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
