Job summary

Job description

Role Purpose: why the role exists and its overall contribution to the organisation

Take ownership and accountability for all finishing operations and resources to ensure production schedule is adhered to and efficiently achieved.

Role Accountabilities: main areas for achieving delivery and results

Print Finishing

• Laminating various types of prints with seals & glues using laminating machines
• General print finishing duties – hand finishing
• Zund experience would be beneficial
• Unloading / Loading of material
• Reductions of waste by identifying cause. Working with Supervisor in identifying and eradicate costs where possible.
• Regular stocktakes.
• Ensure time, materials and usages are recorded accurately. (including any re-prints)
• Be responsible for communicating internally providing update on any outstanding issues via daily production meeting with Supervisor.
• Adhering to Health and Safety, Environmental policies and procedures.
• Focused on quality and customer satisfaction.
• Helping with deliveries

Special Conditions and Working Arrangements

Flexible approach to working hours although these will primarily be 9am – 5:30pm Monday to Friday
