Job summary

The Best Connection is recruiting a Manufacturing Operative to support a busy print factory in Uckfield. Rotating days and fixed nights offer consistent work and weekly pay.

You will operate and set up print machinery, monitor quality, pick and pack orders, and process orders using warehouse systems. You will work as part of a team to meet daily targets while following health and safety procedures, with temporary-to-permanent potential.

Location: Uckfield

Shifts Available:

Rotating Days - 06:00-18:00 Week 1 (Thursday-Saturday)

Rotating Days - 06:00-18:00 Week 2 (Monday-Wednesday)

Fixed Continental Nights - 18:00-06:00 (Sunday-Tuesday)

Fixed Continental Nights - 18:00-06:00 (Wednesday-Friday)

Job Summary

• Operating and overseeing print machinery to ensure efficient production
• Setting up machines, including adjustments for different print runs
• Monitoring quality of printed materials to meet company standards
• Picking and packing customer orders accurately.
• Processing orders using handheld scanners and warehouse systems.
• Preparing goods for dispatch.
• Conducting quality checks on products.
• Loading and unloading materials safely
• Completing production paperwork and logging output
• Working as part of a team to meet daily targets and deadlines
• Following health & safety procedures at all times
