- Owning Print and Graphic Design Development for Monsoon Childrenswear.
- Researching current and future print trends to drive innovation while aligning with the Monsoon Childrenswear aesthetic.
- Designing, developing, and briefing varied print artworks using mediums like hand painting, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Drawing inspiration from vintage artworks, seasonal trends, and catwalks.
- Sending print packs, colour standards, and artworks to suppliers.
- Managing the print Critical Path to ensure timely product development.
- Collaborating with buying teams and responding to trade information.
- Adapting to the changing needs of the business to deliver product ranges to customers.
- Managing freelance print support and overseeing the Print Design Assistant.
We’d love to meet someone with…
- Previous experience as a Print Designer for an aspirational brand or high street retailer.
- Exceptional print design skills, including knowledge of print methods, rotary repeats, factory colour limitations, and complex repeats.
- Proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Strong hand painting skills with a versatile portfolio.
- Understanding of the Monsoon Children’s brand customer and commercial handwriting.
- Trend awareness and a forward-thinking approach to print design.
- Experience managing critical paths, with strong time management and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, managing a Print Design Assistant.
- A passion for designing prints and graphics for childrenswear.
